Went here to order a fillet of beef for Christmas day after a recommendation from a friend and ended up leaving with sausages, chicken stir fry and a black pudding pork pie to try in the meantime. All superb and the Cumberland sausages were delicious, both my husband and father in law said they were the nicest sausages they'd tried for a long time. The chicken stir fry wasn't short of chicken and was delicious when accompanied with rice. Will definitely be making the trip to use this butchers from now on as prices are reasonable, cleanliness is top notch and staff are helpful and thorough but most importantly produce is delicious!
Have been buying with them for a couple years. Lovely people and great price.They sell all sorts of cut and often they will get it for u. Best to go on Tuesday where they have more stocks.Occasionally they sell fresh fruits, veg, pastries and others. The prices are always very reasonable.Their eggs are the best! I always go for their XL dozen only 2.20. Sometime I get double egg yolks. Their large egg for a dozen is 1.90.
